Virtual Studio – Free and simple Monitoring Utility VST/AU Plugin By Beyerdynamic

Beyerdynamic has released Virtual Studio, a free studio monitor simulation tool for people who mix their tracks with headphones.

The plug-in virtually simulates real speaker systems (such as stereo or 5.1) in various environments (recording studio, concert halls, etc.) on your headphones.

Virtual Studio is available for free download via Beyerdynamic (19.2MB download size, 32-bit & 64-bit VST/AU plugin format for Windows & Mac).

The plugin was developed in cooperation with ITA Aachen (Institute of Technical Acoustics), Bauer Studios Ludwigsburg and HOFA Plugins, who are known for some nice freeware metering plugins. Virtual Studio meant to create a virtual studio space, emulating several different speaker setups and rooms.

Checked out wit FL-Studio, Sonar X2, and Biwig Studio, and get a cool Result, it works better as a room reverb plugin than a mixing utility. For some Instruments ,especially used in seperated Channels , this Plugin give a cool Reverb Sound e.g. Pianos or Accoustik Guitars.

For install, You have to copy this Plugin into Your VST Folder and set the Path to this Folder, and Your DAW will find it and make it usable. For more Instructions how to install a Plugin, see this Article.

You have to Register at Beyerdynamic, after Registration here , You get a Download Link via E-Mail.
